Here’s a just a few things that some of you have had to say about Ninjai:

I have recently watched Ninjai's 10 chapters... At first I was highly, positively, impressed with the sheer technical achievement of your animation work.... The smooth transitions, the movement, lightning, the vividness and uniqueness of the characters, wow!! By the end of chapter 3 I was immersed, captured in a highly entertaining plot, a mystical drama in crescendo, with a tender touch... But overall, I am truly pleased with the artistical achievement: The astonishing-breathtaking Musical Score which perfectly accompanies to the encompass of the animation, The splendid voice characterizations, the environmental sounds and elements, backgrounds... A short animation masterpiece!! Keep It Up!

Hello there. I wish to tell you that your movie Ninjai is without a doubt the most intriguing and entertaining and awesome martial arts movie I have seen. I am 30 and have practiced Tang Soo Do, Hwa Rang Do, & Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu and have been a fan of martial arts and martial arts movies since around the age of 5. My hat’s off to you because that movie, if ever done on a bigger scale will be an absolute classic and legend. I really cannot describe the happiness it gives me to see young people with values and morals stand up for their rights and visualize it the way Ninjai does. You guys rock!!!!! I wish to be a member of Ninjai. Thank you.

Gang - Excellent work! I have just now had time to get back to the site and catch up on the latest. Sorry it's been so trying for you to keep things going. I sincerely hope that you are able to find resolution. I greatly enjoy the chapters of Ninjai that I have seen and have told countless friends about it. It's kind of a funny story, but I actually saw Ninjai when I was in Iraq last year. They finally got net access up and running at our compound up in Mosul and I was in dire need of some entertainment. As I started searching, I saw a Ninjai banner somewhere and just knew I had to check it out. After it started playing, I knew I was hooked. I even shared it with lots of the locals on our staff and they loved it as well. I sport the Ninjai desktop with his shadow in the moonlight and have had countless remarks on how nice it is. I use that as an ice-breaker to tell others about Ninjai, so I think it serves many purposes. When I first started watching Ninjai, I was very lonely for my family back in Virginia and seriously missing my son (Mikey - he's almost 4 now). Watching Ninjai was very instrumental in helping me relax and find a bit of inner peace during that time. I can still remember the sites, sounds, and smells of the environment around me as I watched it in the evenings after work. Again, major thanks! As soon as I have time, I'm going to set up Mikey's machine so he can watch all the chapters. He and I watch lots of martial arts-related movies together, so I know this will be a favorite for him. I wish you the best of luck in the coming months and hope that you are able to produce the final chapters. As for when, I'll leave that to you. If you are able to give us a big-screen appearance or even a DVD, I'll be there to support you as I am able. I know I will be watching the chapters again as I travel in the coming months. As you read the criticisms levied against you by the blind and ignorant, keep one of my favorite Irish toasts near to your hear: Here's to those that wish us well; those that don't can go to hell.
Michael A. LeBlanc

Just wanted to compliment you on the Ninjai's chapters I watched them all. One by one couldn't wait for the download to finish can't wait for the 11th chapter keep up the great work.
Sharon Refael from Israel

Thank you all for your creative expression in The Little Ninja. He is wonderful and inspirational. graphics are stunning. Music complementary without being obtrusive. Little bird charming. A very worthwhile experience. Thank you...for making it available and free - love me.

Wow, I am very impressed at the way this saga is put together. I've never been introduced to this kind of mini series, saga, or anime before. This is incredible. You guys are very talented and you need to expose this, or maybe a movie script, I mean that's good, real good. Those episodes were all good, I never got bored I was always on the edge of my seat, especially while he was in quick sand. I was also laughing my ass of when he showed that general guy his head...This is good stuff and I hope you continue making this.
MIKE

No words can express my love for Ninjai. My friend sent me the link, and I'm not really one for just sitting at my computer and watching movies on-line. However, the home page intrigued me, and I thought, well, the little Ninja is adorable. Okay, I'll give it a shot. I loved it. I watched every one of them in one sitting, something I never do. The music is beautiful, and the animation superb. I was deeply intrigued from the beginning - Who is that little guy? How did he become the way he is? What is he searching for? The humor adds a nice touch, but so does the epic struggle of a young boy searching for himself. I have also never been so moved watching short films online. *L* I am not afraid to admit that I bawled my eyes out on Chapter 5. That little bird - Ahh! It broke my heart. And I'll have you know also that it even had my boyfriend in tears, something no movie has been able to do. Yeah - it's that good. I cheered, I laughed, I cried, I fell in love with that little bird - I'm definitely going out to buy a little white bird who can talk to me like that. ;) So tell me! Is there a soundtrack coming out? If so, I want one! And these episodes definitely need to be compiled on a DVD... I'll buy one for me and each of my friends. Seriously. Kudos to you all at Atomstuff! You guys - and gals - are my hero’s. I'm going to watch them all again now. Thank you for sharing your talents with me in a spectacular way.
-Kess

Hi, I've never attempted to view any of the atom films but for some odd reason I decided to give one a try and chose Ninjai. Am I glad I did. The story is awesome! You all have done an excellent job at developing a wonderful story w/ beautiful artwork. I was really touched by Ninjai's 'death' scene and the little bird’s grief at the apparent loss of his friend. Yes, my eyes welled up w/ tears for the little guy. I'm not ashamed to admit that. While I waited for chapters to load, I thought about how great it would be to have this whole story on a DVD once it's completed. I'm looking forward to the other Ninjai projects under development and I'm sorry that there is no Ninjai gear available at this time. I don't know what other stuff besides t-shirts you had but definitely a DVD should be among the stuff offered. Perhaps books, mouse pads, resin figurines, and some frameable artwork would be good things to develop for marketing. Unfortunately, for me, nobody had anything available on eBay for Ninjai, but I'm sure the t-shirts are highly prized by Ninjai fans. I would certainly want one. So high praises for you all.
Joffler

Congratulations! You have, so far, produced one of the most riveting animated series I have ever watched. As good, or better (in some respects) as the Animatrix series. Which seemed way ahead of it's time. Ninjai is a compelling character, and the backgrounds are beautifully rendered. It was a very Zen experience! Best wishes and every success in your future endeavors,
Brent Busching

Greetings, I just finished watching Chapter 10 of Ninjai. It is, without a doubt one of the most extraordinary and enjoyable feats I have ever had the pleasure to witness. My compliments to you and your staff for truly taking flash filmmaking to the next level and beyond. Inspired. Truly. A gripping story, incredible artwork and sound. Simply the best film of this type I have ever seen and frankly ever expect to see. I can’t wait to see your next chapters. Bravo.
Robert K Arnold

I just watched Ninjai and I absolutely loved it. I am going to recommend it to all my friends. Best thing I’ve seen come off of the net and I can’t wait too see more.
Seamus Vaughan

Hi Ninjai gang!! I really enjoy your animations!!! My favorite character on them is the bird. I love how he shows loyalty and how he tries his hardest to save Ninjai's life when he's pulling him out of the quicksand. I can't wait for the next one's to come out!! Good luck with them and have fun! Sincerely,
Shelly Brown

People! I just happened upon The Little Ninja while upgrading some downloads. Unbelievable. I could do a graduate Literature thesis on the first ten chapters. I am blown away by the storytelling power of the medium (and your talent of course, too). When I realized in Chapter 8 that the Little Ninja's heartbeat had stopped - I had not felt that tugging at my heartstrings since seeing Old Yeller as a kid. AND... oh, the little bird. I could barely sit still for the moment the little bird would know his buddy was still alive. The little bird may only have "a little bird brain" but he has the heart and the nobility of a lion. Fabulous work, people. Yes.
Theresa Forbes

Thank you. My ten yr. old son and I just got done watching all 10 chapters of LITTLE NINJAI and it was wonderful!!! My son cried when the little bird was crying and he usually isn't a soft guy. It amazed me. I am an artist (but sinfully don't use my God given talent) because both my sons are ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and they take up most of my waking hours. Please continue your work on NINJAI. We would love to see a full length feature in the future. Keep up the good work. The artwork is beautiful and the music just so outstanding...PERFECT! The voice of Ninjai we love. We will be waiting. Take your time as we want it right.

Ninjai is an awesome cartoon!! It's nice to finally see some animators who are thinking outside the box and aren't trying to add to the same old dribble you find on television. Too many people have forgotten that cartooning is an art form, I'm glad there's still artists out there trying to bring out original ideas. I hope there are many more Ninjai episodes to come. Keep up the good work!
A.F.

Dear Ninjai Gang: I have watched all ten chapters of "Ninjai" and was amazed by every one of them. I said to myself, "finally there is an animation that can compete with 'Ninja Scroll' and 'Fist of the North Star.'" I can't wait to see chapters 11 and 12. P.S.....I like the way you guys through in a little hint of the Matrix's visual F-X. Your loyal fan.
Kevin Salmon

Dear Gang, 1. Thank you for the countless hours put into this and other projects. 2. Thank you for the letter on your web site to explain what is going on. The not knowing anything is what makes some people anxious and rumors get started. 3. Thank you for caring. 4. Thank you for reading what the fans are saying. I put out an e-letter for all my high school students' parents and wonder sometimes if anyone appreciates the effort, or even reads what I send. Just wanted you to know I appreciate your work.
Mark Mondl

Hi! I have been coming and checking this site for about 8 months now and I have to say you have been doing a wonderful job. The way I see it is you are artist, and as I well know you can't rush perfection. I think you should block out all those people who say you have to move faster, etc. I enjoy the wait. After all Rome wasn't built in a day correct. So, Tread lightly all is as should be.

Hello, my name is Alain. I was wasting time in my college library and a popup came up to download Macromedia Flash. I reluctantly clicked on the OK button and it brought me to the Shockwave.com new features page. So I played a few games and clicked on the Little Ninja movie. Let me just say Oh My Lord! I just watched all ten films and I'm dying to know how the last two go. The first one had my jaw on the table. The second one had me laughing with the Chinese goofy cursing man and the third simply had me hooked so bad but I had to leave the library. I rushed home and finished 9 and 10! All that was going through my head was THIS HAS to make it to the widescreen. It definitely has everything it needs. From the details of breathing, sweating men, to fight scenes to story and humor. It has no beginning and no end; which is perfect. Many sequels can lead to television series and a MAJOR franchise. I know what your thinking, "this guy can help us out!" No, unfortunately I can't. I am a nobody, but I'm a fan saying keep up the good work. I didn't think that sort of thing could be accomplished by Shockwave. I am a writer myself and trying very hard to get my materials published, but I can tell you should be able to go places with something like Ninjai. I wish I could be a part of the Ninjai gang! I could learn so much from you people as I might have a few things to contribute of my own. Well that's my piece and I truly hope to hear from you soon. Again, keep up the good work and I will still have my jaw wide open and wanting more. Thank You.
A.F.

Ninjai, The Little Ninja is by far the most amazing journey an online animation has taken me through. I laughed, I cried, and I left wanting more. Thank you for allowing me to travel with you along the path you have chosen.

Thank you, Ninjai Gang, for your wonderful animation, your philosophy on violence and pacifism and just a great character. Ninjai is an inspiration and I actually think that in these times of troubles when children are being abducted etc, a dose of Ninjai could empower young ones to really act for them-selves by not being so trusting of strangers. Anyway, thank you. I am a 45 year old woman (as if that might mean anything) and I love your work! I was especially moved by the prayer of powerlessness that Ninjai speaks in the quicksand. Your attention to detail is astounding! May the lord bless you all! PS. Has anyone from "Adult Swim" on the Cartoon Network ever contacted you? Ninjai would be great on Adult Swim! Deeper and more powerful than Samurai Jack!
Brenda Woolley a new fan

Hey Gang, My best friend and I got Ninjai tattoos on the back of our legs a few months ago. I just wanted you to know how much this saga has meant to us and effected our life. Loving the wait, it only means it isn't over yet. Thanks for all your hard work.
Sarah

I have many comments... I would first like to start by saying i was very impressed by the backgrounds and music. The whole way it starts already sets a mood. It gets you in a peaceful state and then you get on with the rest of the movie. The characters i have already noticed were all uniquely drawn. Each one was different from the rest- and the voices-perfect! i was at first startled by Ninjai’s voice because it was so soft and different. i have never heard such a voice before. i liked it, it suited him well. back to the characters.... i noticed that they were all different as i said. if you replaced one head with another the whole character would be lost. i love it when animators do that because it shows that they put their creativity in every one. (Unlike in say, pokemon, the characters all look the same, if you replace a head with a different one the character would be the same.) i also love the shading, and the quality of it all. In the very first chapter, the animation looked like it wasn't as professional, (no offence or anything) but as the chapters progressed the animation and quality were getting a heck of a lot better. By chapter 10 I noticed that it looked like a professional movie, heck it could get out in theaters! But anyway i just wanted to give you these comments and i would appreciate it if you would send me feedback so i know my good words have been received. Thanks a lot! Ps please bear with me cuz i know my spelling sucks... and one other thing, you have inspired me and i have learned alot about animating from this movie, because i myself, have an animation creator (macromedia flash) and love to draw and make up cartoons and stuff!
TC

Hello Ninjai Gang, I have quite a bit to say so I am going to get right to it. First of all, I would like to say that I do not expect a reply. I know you are busy and incidentally the stuff in "Kill Bill" was gorgeous. I am a long time supporter of Ninjai. I have been watching since the beginning and am blown away at every installment of Ninjai. Just know that some of us feel that a product this good is worth waiting for. The work on Ninjai is not only first rate animation, it is musically superb, visual stunning, and thought provoking. All of your Las Vegas fans are behind you! I have written a handful of times and cannot express completely how much I love and respect your work. The crew out here is comprised of Martial Artists from several disciplines, including Shao-Lin Kungfu, Krav Maga, Western Boxing, and Okinawan Karate. As well, we are a ragtag bunch of artisans, including actors, artists, musicians, and writers. We understand and support you! You are creating art for art's sake and I hope that you don't let the few nay sayers with too much free time and a computer dampen your spirits. We love and support you! I look forward to every installment and am very excited to see the remaining chapters but am willing to wait. A product of that caliber takes time! We understand this. We will wait patiently. Very few artists have the conviction you have. Most people want the quick buck. Your artistic integrity is beyond compromise and should be applauded! Incidentally, if we can do anything to help, please let me know. We will help in any capacity. Again, know that some of us appreciate your work. Keep it up! The way I see it, the longer it takes the more amazing it will be! My secret hope is that this letter is one in a long line of others screaming your praise and supporting you. In short... surf, train, act, be, live, love. And if you have time, work on Ninjai. Some of us will not only support you, we'll respect you for it. I look forward to hearing that familiar song start as I prepare myself for the next step in a journey that I have been blessed to watch grow. You are artists! Much love and respect from your Vegas connection,
Sean Critchfield

Hello! First let me say you are all absolutely awesome! I love Ninjai and just like everyone else I am eager to see the next chapters. The visuals are stunning and the music is brilliant. I'm so glad just to be able to enjoy what you've created. I know you all don't have much free time for this e-mail but I wanted to let you know just how much I appreciate all the time and effort you put into Ninjai. As far as I'm concerned the last chapters shouldn't be rushed and I agree 100% with how you are all going about this. Take your time, feel right about what your doing, after all Ninjai is your creation. I wish I could help you but I'm not an animator and I don't know of any. Anyway, I just wanted to send a little e-mail to thank the entire Ninjai staff for dedicating so much time to the continuation of the Ninjai series. You all rock!
Rachel

Hello, I have just got to say that Ninjai is incredible. It was by key chance that my friend was over, the pizza came and I couldn't find the DVD I wanted, so I remembered some good short films I had watched on shockwave about a year ago. That’s when I ran into this, we watched the whole thing, I was even a little late for work, but it was well worth it. Never have I seen a show that not only be as funny as hell but have some good action, some of the most heart pulling scenes ever(when the little bird was trying to pull out Ninjai from the quicksand, almost brought me to tears), but also fantastic music. I fully support you now and will be spreading the word, make that DVD quick as I want one!
Justin

Dear Ninjai Gang, I wanted to tell you that you do a great job with your story telling. It's unlike any animation that I have seen. Your talent is evident in every chapter. The characterization of each and every character is great. The friendship that develops between the little ninja and the bird is very genuine. The themes of trying to find yourself and finding refuge in the Lord is inspiring. I totally support your reasoning in how you are releasing the next chapters. I've been patiently waiting for the next chapters since November, and I look forward to seeing them! Thanks for what you do.
Brian Steele

Everything from the animation, story, and to the music just completely blows my mind! This stuff is definitely on par with just about anything that's currently out there. You've got a great thing going here, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here!
Krisso

To all the gang, thank you for bringing such a wonderful presentation to the internet. Your hard work, efforts, and dedication have brought you far and you have every right to be pleased with yourselves! As an individual who cannot progress to higher education for now, it is wonderful to know that the success of Ninjai was not brought about by people with this and that degree in design or media, but normal everyday people who do every day jobs. It is a wonderful inspiration to know it is about the idea and the work produced, not about official pieces of paper. As someone writing my own story, may I also say great work by turning away the big people with all the money! I'm extremely possessive of my work so far, and I expect you guys are too, because it's something you made and only you people can make Ninjai work. Let's face it, if you handed the ideas over to someone else they would probably screw up anyway! You present Ninjai in a way which is unique, brought to life by real love and care, something a big company cannot recreate. Even due to your limitations of media, it has actually worked to everyone’s advantage because the style is something which has become part of Ninjai as well. Keep up the good work, and enjoy your success, you've all earned every bit of it! Blessed Be,
Kaiser xxx

Well what can we say, this was something we stumbled on and intended to just watch the first chapter to while away a few idle moments...but you've got us well and truly hooked. How you can evoke man's every emotion in such a short time, with one single story is unfathomable and you have our sincerest congratulations. Chapter eight we know will not let us down and we look forward to laughing, crying, conquering, and fearing with Ninjai and the little bird in the future. Deserves to be on the big screen, we hope you make it. Just a final word...the man who cannot help but swear...genius!!
Adam and Fran

This is the best cartoon series i seen, since dragonballz, but its the same way u present it too, I really like these cartoons, and i hope to see more, keep up the good work!!!
Funki Munki (Honolulu Hawaii)

I found this the other day while on the com. And i just now sat my g/f, down and she watched along with me. To let you guys know that she cried for the little ninja after his capture. Well done so far on the movie can't wait for the rest of the chapters to come forth. Plus she really cried because of the Ninjai bird companion; try to save his new found friends life.
Katie & Tony

Hey, Ever since I've discovered Ninjai on Atomfilms.com, I've been hooked ever since. It's a great thing you guys are doing. I tell everyone I know about Ninjai! I wanna be your biggest fan. I do my best to spread the word of the little ninja. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you guys. Everyone that I've shown Ninjai to get just as fanatical as me about Ninjai! Just like in the subject line, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!! I can't wait until chapter 8. When are you guys gonna get some Ninjai merchandise. Anywaze, keep 'em comin'. Your loyal fan
dReW

Hi my name is shadow and I have only seen 6 episodes but they rule over all others. I can’t wait to see other episodes i never use to go on the internet but now I will go on everyday just to see more episodes plz put 7 to 12 on soon. Big fan always,

Dear Ninjai gang, I am currently a university student enrolled at Sir Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This year I am living in a residence style dormitory titled "Willison Hall". There are 4 floors of about 45 people or so each. About a week ago, myself, and some of the guys on my floor came across your GLORIOUS animation on shockwave.com. We were in such awe, that we watched every chapter twice through without stopping. We were totally enthralled. It's unbelievable what your crew has done with flash animation. The backgrounds, characters, and music are simply amazing. At present time, about 25 people on our floor are addicted to Ninjai: The Little Ninja and this number is growing daily. Although you may be responsible for the neglection of our studies, we thank you none the less and hope to see the "climactic conclusion of Ninjai: Volume One" soon. Sincerely yours,
Residents of A2N floor, Willison Hall, Wilfred Laurier University,

Chapter 8 was a very intriguing episode. I have been viewing these episodes faithfully along with my 7 year old son who is more into it then me, you should see his face, he is also eagerly waiting for you guys to begin the KarmaKula. I tell him that the character is Ninjai when he is older. We both can not wit till the next episode. First time I am looking forward to the first day of fall.

Ninjai Gang....I have been watching the workings of this site, and Little Ninjai for a long time. I know that you guys put forth the effort, and that you are busy too. Keep up the good work...Satya, I enjoyed your article in Black Belt...you're more beautiful than Uma ever though about being, and I wish you guys all the luck in the world with your continuing stunt work. Being a traditional martial artist, I appreciate the hard work and training that goes into your work...but on top of that you have to deal with the film industry! Yuck! LOL!! Again, best of luck...I appreciate that you are taking your time with Ninjai...the worst ending of all would be one that you guys rushed to get done. Many thanks for the enjoyment of Ninjai! Keep it up!!

Hello "Gang". I just wanted to shoot you guys a quick note saying how very much I've enjoyed watching the current chapters of the Ninjai saga. I never get tired of them and I generally can find new things I didn't see before. Your artwork is absolutely beautiful! And the way you portray the different fighting styles of the combatants in your films is so true to life that I could swear the characters were real! I just read the announcement you posted about people wanting the new chapters A.S.A.P., if not sooner and part of me (albeit an EXTREMELY small part) does sympathize with those that would like the new chapters out sooner than later, but the majority of my feelings are on your side. Being a tech support rep for MSN is no picnic at times, and you have your own things to worry about in your personal lives as well. I know that you are working as fast as you can to get the new chapters out so that as you said in your message there won't be too much of a delay between episodes, but also so you can continue to deliver the same high quality and engrossing storylines that you have expertly accomplished with the first ten episodes, and for that you ALL deserve a HUGE pat on the back! I, for one, tell everyone (well almost) everyone I come in contact with to check out the episodes and every time somebody tells me about it, they are totally blown away! DUH! I mean you guys kick so much ass between animating and keeping up with the posts on the board and your own personal lives, I'm quite honestly amazed you can do it all! Well, enough of my arse-kissing. Just keep it up guys. Sincerely,
Aaron
P.S. NINJAI RULES ALL!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say that your little ninja cartoon, was the first online cartoon to ever make me cry...I know I'm a geek or maybe to girly, but anyway I really enjoyed what I've seen so far.
Aleaha

Hi, my name is Alex. I just wanted to tell you that your doing a great job, i love 1-10. and to just tell you to take your time im not in too much of a hurry (even thought the suspence is KILLING me) and just ignore all those whinny bastards out there who complain all the time, they are everywhere. To them nothing is good enough. They dont know how hard it is to make flash animations. P.S. Keep up the good work :-)
Alex

Hello, I just wanted to say that I love your site and the work that you all do is awesome. I know your doing your best to make the chapters and to put them on the site for all to enjoy. Thank you for creating Ninjai and please take your time with these episodes even if you feel pressured to hurry. I wish you all the best of luck and thank you again. You've really created something that I think all can enjoy and well I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and continuous dedication.
Allyson

Ninjai Gang, Keep to the path you have trodden so wisely upon. All warriors have many obstacles to pass in time. Patience will bring your disciples the glory they seek in their hearts. Regards,
Bad Robot

I know you don't need to hear it from me, but I just wanted to say your work is great! I've already forwarded it to one of my friends. My only problem is why did I have to find your site by accident. I'm sure you have a huge cult following, hell you may even have a mainstream audience and I'm just the only person who doesn't have a clue. Well, if you guys aren't mainstream you deserve to be if you want to be. Truly,
Cleo House, Jr.

Hello Ninjai Gang, I just watched chapters 1-10 and feel compelled to write and congratulate you. Excellent art work (incredibly atmospheric), moving music and an engrossing story. You spent some considerable effort (on and off) with facial movements corresponding to spoken words and the results were a real delight! I detected a lot of English accents (I thought) under the Eastern phrasing. That was nice too. I suspect you guys are from UK or have some connection there. I understand that you’re too busy to write back – I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your work. Keep up the good work; I’m on tenterhooks for the sequel. Thanks,

I absolutely love the Ninjai series! Your attention to detail in the backgrounds, as well as character movement and even the preloader, is astounding. It's amazing to see just what Flash is capable of in the right hands. I was very pleased to read you aren't creating Ninjai for financial gain, although as you said, there has been alot of interest in the character from big companies, but it would be a shame to see such a beautiful creation tarnished by Directors you only believe in attracting more viewers and making more money. That said, I fully appreciate how difficult it must be to fund such a large project and hope to help out either by buying Ninjai merchandise in the future or donating to the cause if you ever presented the option. I'm sure i'm not the only one. In the meantime, goodluck with the finale to the first act, i'm sure it will be even more heart-wrenching/comical/tense/peaceful than the current chapters - you really had me thinking Ninjai wouldn't survive the quicksand:-S. A DVD would be brilliant, that was the first thing i thought of after watching the series (Before I read the about and faq sections i mean). Obviously that all takes time and good planning but i'm sure it will be as much a successful medium as the Internet has been. I'm currently doing Flash at college, obviously I'm nowhere near as good as the Ninjai team, but you've really inspired me to be creative.. and also take up martial arts again - I learned Shotokan Karate until work and college got in the way, but hopefully that will change in 2004. I'm rambling now, talking more about myself than Ninjai, but that just shows how thought-provoking it is, I love how you've captured the control and peacefulness of martial arts, it's not fighting for the sake of fighting as you said and I think Ninjai really reflects this. The world leaders, with the phone in their office linked to Nuclear Silos really need to step back and see the whole picture. Anyway, I just want to wish you continued success with Ninjai and your other projects. I hope 2004 is just as fruitful for you all and look forward to following Ninjai's adventures in the near future.

I just watched episodes 1-10 in one night. I loved seeing the progression to better production quality at the end. By episode 10, it is the best looking flash movie I have ever seen. As an animator myself, I am inspired to look at Flash again. It is good to know that if you just put something good out there, people will come to see it. keep up the good work, stay independent (I know that you will),
Henning

Gang, Your work is top notch, don't let the greater unwashed bring you down. Your work is well worth the wait. Your talent will inspire the next generation of artists to follow what you have put forth. Thank you for sharing!

Hello my name is Jedson D Winter, I stumbled on this series after I downloaded shockwave. This series and stories is and was absolutely amazing I enjoyed it immensely, I thank you for developing a show that can make you become amazed and excited from the action and at the same time almost cry because of the emotionality in the characters it was truly amazing and inspirational. Thank you for such a wonderful show.
Jedson D Winter

Hi....I just now watched all the "Ninjai" chapters (with my wife) and I thought they were amazing. I'm not a huge anime fan(I would asume that's what style of flash this is) but if all of it was half as good as the story telling you guys pulled off I would be! Thank you very much for the time you put in to this. Oh yeah...take as long as you want with those last chapters...you can't rush perfection. A "Ninjai fan",
Jesse

Hi my name is Karina and I am from Chile. My English is nor very good so try to understand... I really wanted to say that the Ninjai is one of the best thing that I’ve ever found on the net, i really like the character and the way that you use a child in this, there you can see (even if is not real) that you don t have to be big and strong to be good in what you do, you just have to believe in your self and have the intelligence to guess what the other are going to do, before they do it. The other thing is that i really like martial arts and this is a place where you can see something really good about it... so that’s all, congratulation and keep the good work...

I just wanted to let the gang know that NINJAI is gonna go places. I've seen it, and all I could say was WOW!! You guys take your time making new chapters, because you want the world to see only your best work. I've also signed up for your newsletter because i dont wanna miss a thing. So till next time GOOD LUCK! BEST WISHES! and may everything work out for y'all , because i want a NINJAI DVD soon...LOL

I just want to say, how impressed and pleased with your story of "Ninjai, the little ninja". Great work!! I've been a fan of this kind of art for only a couple of years, starting with "Ninja Scroll" and then the story of "Samurai X and the series of "Rurouni Kenshin", both a must see. And, probably because of my own experience with martial arts and Asian spirituality, as well as my own Native American spiritual influence, I really have been captivated with these Asian stories and it's history. (Hopefully, the Great White Buffalo, Dalai Lama, and all other great spirits, also approves). Again, I want to thank you and I wish that I could be some help in this project. So I'll patiently wait for the completion of the story and hope for your success. In the mean time, I've been telling my friends about this site. By the way, I wanted you to know that I'm 55 yrs old and a Vietnam war veteran, so you will know the age range of some of your fans. Sincerely yours,
Lloyd

Hey, I had a friend introduce me to your site. I'm hooked. I can't wait for the new chapters to come out. You all are great. I gotta say, the inventor is my favorite character (well besides the bird). The entire set (would you call all the chapters a set?) is wonderful. Just wanted to let yall know what i thought. I don't expect a response as i realize yall are hard at work. Great work guys! Sincerely,
Meghan Gaddie

Applause, applause, LOUD APPLAUSE! Beautiful artwork, wonderfully haunting, sensuous soundtrack and a tale that keeps one on the edge, searching for the next chapter! Most excellent!
Michael G.

I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone on the Ninjai team for your work. Ninjai has been a very cinematic experience for me, and bottom line I will wait for as long as possibe to view the final few chapters. So keep up the good work and don't mind all the criticism. You guys were the ones that first brought us Ninjai after all, so how could we possibly even complain? Good luck!
Noel Manning

Hey Gang, I just wanted to let you know that Ninjai is awesome, but you already know that. I really envy the creative side that some people have, I never really created anything. It's great that you all are into martial arts, I am into it too although I don't know any particular style. If there is anything I can do to help you guys out let me know. My company is small but anything is possible. One final piece of advice, keep your group tight. The tighter you are the more you are able to get through the high points and some low points this little guy will bring you. Good luck and keep your heads up and backs straight. :-) Later,
Paul

I don't know what good a single e-mail can do to encourage you guys, but I just wanted to thank you for all of the great work that you're doing, every single person involved with Ninjai. I really appreciate the way you care about your fans, and i'm saddenned that there are people that seem to think you don't. I love Ninjai, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming chapters. Thank you all so much for putting out such great entertainment, for your patience with ignorant people, and especially your concern for your fans. God bless you guys. Take as long as you need, I'll always be around to watch Ninjai!
Phil

I'm disabled, I sit at home every day, waiting for more entertainment like the little Ninjai, I have read your recent post on the website, and understand fully what you are going thru, there will always be people who will bitch about everything you do, they have nothing to offer but sarcasm ,adding nothing to the spirit of your project. I'm amazed that you guys, (the Ninjai Team),have offered us(the public),one of the most fascinating animated movies that exist on the web, it's educational, it's spiritual, it's exciting, it's suspenseful, it's POWERFUL MANNA for mind and spirit. All the people bitching about waiting for the next episode should back off and go do something with there lives instead of posting their petty opinions about how long it takes you guys to get the next chapter published. Take all the time you need, your excellent work is worth its wait. The public morons that are badgering you guys should get a life.....maybe the should spend some time writing there government officials about some of the REAL things that are wrong in the US....and do something on their pc's that could be constructive, instead of bitching about The Little Ninjai. It seems to me that if these folks are intelligent enough to use a pc for entertainment that the surely would find other uses for it. I'm one of your biggest fan's and I think this is one of the most well thought out projects ever posted to a web site for entertainment purposes. ATOM FILMS should be bowing at your feet! Keep up the good work team! One of the thankful fans,
R.G.

Greetings Ninjai Gang, Regarding your pop-up note detailing your struggle to find suitable animators and the ungodly amount of cash animation costs (especially if you try to go out-of-house with a project), I can only but sympathize and concur with your feelings. Being a writer/producer myself, I well know that it does cost an enormous amount of time and money to produce quality animation, traditionally, flash —or 3D. And, for you to be doing this out-of-pocket and via your own resources and talent, is extraordinary. The quality of Ninjai is top-notch by any standard. So, for what it’s worth... I say take as much time as you want and need for finish episodes 11-14. In my opinion, Ninjai, the Little Ninja is perhaps the very best episodic flash animation available on the Net that one could ever hope to watch. Don’t worry, all of your loyal fans, myself included, will wait patiently —no matter how long it takes. Regards,
Todd DeBonis

I don't know how I stumbled across this website, but after watching the first 3 chapters of your Little Ninja series, I just could not leave my computer, to catch up on some much needed sleep... I have seen other creations, but this one is incredible.. I watched the entire 10 chapters you had.. This would definitely in my mind make for an awesome movie.. It was extremely captivating, and kept me glued to my computer screen.. If I were to rate this on a scale of 1 to 10, I would have to say its about a 15.. Incredible work.. Well Done... Keep up the awsome work... I will be checking back for the conclusion... Oh and by the way, the saying "Who am I " is definately playing through my head and making me think...
Andy William of Ontario Canada

I read your letter to all who are awaiting the final chapters of Ninjai. Like many, I have been absolutely amazed by the quality and level of effort that you've put into your work. Clearly the pride you have in yourselves and your skills blends into the majestic scenes that quietly lie behind and out through the skillful sword of young Ninjai. I hope you know that there are those fans who are patiently waiting for the completion of the story and are willing to wait as long as necessary to ensure that the quality that we've seen flows to the end. It is unfortunate that you must endure the childish behavior of many who take a great deal for granted. Truly, it must be an amazing waste of so much time responding to their irritating messages. That alone is a feat in itself. I wish for you the courage and strength to do what you need to do to complete this story in the manner you see fit, in the amount of time you require, and for the reason that you began in the first place. All the best in all your ventures,
B.P.

the gang, thanks for the little ninjai. i can wait however long it takes to finish the next 4 chapters. have fun & continue to enjoy what you're doing! and don't mind those impatient folks. some people just have too much time on their hands. a real fan knows all great things are worth waiting for. peace, the truthseekers.
Samuel

I just wanted you to know that I absolutely love your site. I am a 38 year old working Mom, with 3 boys and a wonderful husband. People think I'm a little nutty, but I love nutty things and your site has got to be in that category. I will wait until I'm old and gray for the next chapters (hopefully it wont take that long). Just keep plugging away at your work, and don't worry about those impatient few. Thanks for the entertainment.

You guys don't have to reply back, I know how busy you are and I just wanted to let you guys know how me and many of my friends feel about your work. I praise you guys for your efforts and I find it disturbing that there are individuals out there that have been complaining and making outlandish remarks regarding your loyalty to the fans. My friend says if only many people would realize that greatness has no concept of time, and that is what you guys do...you create something great with patience no matter how long it can take. Sure the ninjai gang and produce some quick chapters of ninjai but it would be done in such a way that it wouldn't be satisfying. You guys take your time and pour all your talent into those chapters because you value your fans and want to keep them truely entertained. It would be nice for someone to realize how much time and patience it takes to create a flash movie. I'm not an expert but I am just beginning to learn how to use Flash MX and after much frustration I'm just starting to make cheap animation with it. I understand how much time it takes with it, with all the details of the movements, the background, the characters, the music, the sounds etc. You guys go above and beyond everyone's expectations and its just sad that there are some that is out there that really do not understand what you do. I don't even fully understand, I just hope someday that I will have the talent that you guys possess. I look forward to the chapters and so does my friends, however we don't watch them for the violence and stuff as much as we mainly watch them for the philosophy and wisdom they possess. The people that have been complaining on your forums or in emails they have been sending to you are just people that do not understand or can even create stuff like you guys do. You are original, thoughtful, and caring for your fans. I thought that the entire gang needed to hear it. You guys can take 10 years to come out with your next chapter, but you'll always have the fans because you captured us in such a way through that character, that we feel like he is all a part of us in some way. Sincerely,
Kenneth Rivera

Dear Gang; I know you guys are working very hard for all your admirers (like me). I'm ONLY posting not to take your time from you, but to thank you for such an incredible experience. The creativity in this project is enough to make me wait as long as needed to get the last few chapters done right. I'm so pleased that you've all given us this wonderful gift and I wish I could do more. If I by any chance win the lottery (hehe) then you'll be one of the places that I invest in! Take your time and don't listen to people that would take energy away from your efforts. Thanks again,
Nicole Fox

I am currently enrolled in school as a computer animation student. I just wanted to say that watching your work and enjoying it is an awesome inspiration. My friends are all fans and they just recently got me hooked on your site. I just wanted to say keep up the good work and you have a new fan!!! > > > >

Hey, gang! Just wanted to tell you that I think you folks do a fantastic job. I feel that your philosophy of waiting on the next chapter release until the ensuing ones have been started is right on time. If I had a single artistic bone in my body, I would devote spare time to creating animation for you; unfortunately I cannot draw a straight line with a ruler! Keep up the great work and I hope others can develop their patience to be worthy of enjoying the excellent story you are creating. Your humble servant,
Psycho

while I’m ranting - I know I’m not the only one - everyone I’ve shown this to (quite a few) has loved it, a friend read through my email and agreed; it's the best shit ever to happen to flash movies. it's #1 obviously out of most commercially produced flash movies, and it's a damned good movie; i seriously think that the movie industry is redeeming itself through flash; people are playing more web-based flash games (no matter how simple), which are getting more advanced with time; people are watching more flash clips; they've evolved from simple menu toolkits to presentations to small (10 seconds maybe) clips of nearly anything, full of sound and color, to longer (2 minute) parodies of the latest political event, then they were implemented (still are) in virtual greeting cards, soon parodies became small humorous cartoon clips, small humorous cartoon clips became series, and now atomfilms.com hosts entire live- action movies with all the elements of early filmmaking, of which ninjai has clearly come out on top. I'm not saying that ninjai is the 21st century casablanca, but it's good man. if anything i think that people are tired of paying $8 for a ticket and $5 for a drink so that they can sit in a small little red room and be fed the same cliche plots, the same style of flow, acting, direction, lotsa bloated special effects, etc. - it's like every drama movie, no matter how cheaply budgeted, is trying to be the next star wars, (not just lotr or 'the matrix' either) also every comedy movie sinks lower and lower into the gutter for jokes, (but sitcoms are worse of course) every action movie has shit that blows up every other scene; all movies try to be all of these three, 'movie marketed as six different genres') all have extremely poor and unbelievable scripts; and most simply fail to live up to the standards they are so obviously trying to achieve. Exceptions of course do come, but rarely, and it's hard to tell without actually going to the movie yourself; friends have different perspectives, critics are biased, and there's usually less in the movie than in the trailers. it's not hard to think of many movies made today in the way one would think of optimizing a machine - you cut back on this, give more of that, smooth out the edges, tweak a bit, throw a little something in to see how it affects things, then mess around with it a bit and send it out to market. over time, one will find the optimal amount of element X and optimal amount of element Y needed for a good Z, and will rarely deviate from the specs. Ninjai, however, takes a different route - when i first heard my brother play the introduction, 'who am i? where did i come from? who are these demons and why do these demons relentlessly cross my path?', i thought the music was kinda cool but seriously thought it was simply another cartoon; then i saw the animation; still hard to believe that the opening scenes and music are done in- house and not stock. the direction angle on the first scene - like when the camera comes suddenly and gradually up to the main character (who we don't really know anything about yet) as he says 'i think the only thing that you will taste today is your own blood' - no action movie character, not even bruce lee would hesitate to floor these guys then; i'm still not sure how, but you can *tell* that the guy on the right is a bit afraid. and then in all its anime glory we see a wicked cool 30fps scene in which the guy on the left is beheaded; the sword-red fade is something i haven't seen, ever, and it worked so well. the scene is perhaps ten seconds long but that's all that is needed - then the guy on the right, pinned to tree somehow, choking on his own blood, somehow manages to spurt out (without regard to his own life of course) 'who the hell are you', and the main character simply retrieves his weapon and walks away, whispering with determination, 'that's what i want to know.' as soon as i saw it i demanded to see chapter 2 - this type of attention to detail and to atmosphere is *not* something one would find today in the local cinema. everyone to whom i've shown chapter 1 to was similarly hooked. Plus, ninjai doesn't try to be anything - no epic quest, we don't even get to know why he is headed to Yamuri, only one fight scene over thirty seconds long, only one scene of pure comedic relief (at the beginning!) and some sly jokes every now and then, were the entire script given to hollywood thus far, it'd be cut to a mere eight minutes - nothing happens whatsoever, on the way to his destination he kills an archer, employed in an army, (what they're doing we don't really know, intimidation and robbery perhaps but no actual battle as of yet) the general of which is sadistic, (and we don't know why, but the main character refers to him and his archer as a 'demon') he is eventually captured and suffocated by Takagawa but manages to survive with the help of another mysterious character. nothing happens! the plot is so simple it leaves more to be wanted - another chapter, and another - chapter 8 would have been unmercilessly cut in a studio and yet set up the atmosphere so well! But that's not all. the animation, the music, (my brother has repeatedly requested a sountrack) the fact that you're at your computer watching it! the fact that it's free! ... i think that the best thing about it is the fact that it's not only done in-house but by people who clearly care about it. if commercially made movies continue their hollow, copycat trend, studios will have a hell of a time turning profits - the playstation x is already out in japan, and comes standard with a 120gb hdd and a dvd *burner* - it cannot ignore the flash scene for much longer, especially with ninjai as wicked awesome as it is, or they may risk going the way of the music industry. anyway, keep up the good work, you guys rock. myself and anyone who's ever seen the series as many times as i have (watching it again right now) thank you for such a great film!

My view is that by projects like Ninjai, The Internet keeps its value. Too little stuff like this is available however, to keep demanding people satisfied.....
Rene

Hey Gang, I really appreciate your generosity in sharing your wonderfully creative and refreshing animation with the world. Thank you very much for all that you have freely given and the best of luck with this project. I sincerely hope that Ninjai turns into a full length movie, Saturday morning cartoon, or whatever you wish it to become. God Bless and good luck,
JB

Thanks guys for the best animation on the internet and probably the best in the world, I've been following ninjai for about a year and love him and all he stands for, I know you lot are working hard, so this is just a quick thank you for all your hard work and I can't wait for the next episode. Whatever you do don't let anything happen to little bird, or ninjai.......... I don't know if I should be telling you this but, the last couple of episodes made me cry, first with sadness then with relief. As a bloke I shouldn't be shedding tears at a cartoon, but that is testament to the amazing storyline and artistic work you lot are producing. Thanks again,
Wayne. United Kingdom.

I have never seen such a collaborative effort produce such a rich plot that tickles your fantasy and has your mind demanding more. I am 50 + and fantasy has always been my world to escape to. I am so proud that your group of young people has taken an original idea developed by all and created such a powerful story. Words fail me here so I will end with KUDOS to all of you…don’t stop…don’t change….the simplicity is exceptional….keep doing what you’re doing ..its working beautifully….and health, happiness and success to you all.

I look forward to see the next chapters. Keep up the good work. I will continue recruit more people to follow Ninjai. Those I have shown, are allready wery exited (like my self) for all other chapthers that come out :) From:
Adversary, Norway

Just a quick note, not requiring any commentary to take you away from the important work you are doing, but I had to say how pleased I am with your work. I find the story captivating, the artistry elegant and well designed, and the execution superb. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing this beautiful tale with the World. You are a welcomed respite from the usual low-quality online animation and I will gladly wait patiently for as long as it takes to see another episode. They are worth the wait. Thanks again.
Kenneth G. Rounds

Little Ninjai is a breath of fresh air. I've kept tabs on it since Chapter 3 or 4 and I will keep checking back. I dabbled with Flash 5 and realise how much effort is needed to produce such a professional piece such as Ninjai. It really is top notch, the cinematic are superb and I hope your bring out some sort of Soundtrack. The whole package of what you have created is something I wouldn't know where to start with. Congratulations to Sayta btw. Kill Bill was fing cool and I am really looking forward to Volume 2. My friend is heavily into Martial arts and Studies all kinds of variants of arts. Wing chun, Silat, Bugwa (Sp?) Perfect Boxing and other assorted goodies. No doubt that's why we are looking back here so often. Got a lot of relevant content for our interests. Keep up the good work. Regards,
B

My name is Steven I’m 27; I think this is one of the most intriguing animations I had ever seen. My congratulations to you guys and keep up the good work. My friends and I Can’t wait to see it on DVD or at the MOVIES!!!!
Steven Rodriguez

Hello my name is Lewis, I am 30 years old, and I must say after seeing all ten chapters of Ninjai, it changed my life. I enrolled in school and an studying Flash. Thank you for an awesome story and inspiring me to follow my dreams of creating my own stuff like that. Brilliant work, thanks so much!
Lewis Davidson

I have never felt compelled to actually use a contact us after watching a Flash film. I have never had a Flash film evoke so much emotion in me before. I was actually almost moved to tears when the bird tried to lift Ninjai out of the quicksand. Well done! Excellent work! I'm very impressed. This site is a virtual tie for best of the best (with Homestarrunner.com, but there is no comparison because that is comedy and a totally different style. This is drama and well written at that). The people who did "Ninja Scroll" should be giving you a hand moving this story to the big screen. This is excellent work no matter what genre it is presented in. Keep up the good work, enjoy it and please don't feel rushed to finish this. Like I said, excellence takes time. BTW, the music is first rate. Thanks for helping move the Internet as a media on par with that of traditional media and driving the price of creativity down to that of everyday, talented people and not just Hollywood studios with the big $$$$. Good luck!! Thanks again for the fantastic story.
CE

The Gang, I cannot offer any assistance in the release of future Ninjai chapters, but I can offer a few kind words. The work that the gang is producing is visually amazing, and well worth waiting any time necessary to see the work through fruition. Thank you for the occasional respite from daily work life. Your work is truly appreciated.
NP

I have a little story I have to tell. I was showing the series to some friends of mine at work. And every one of them was completely entranced by the characters and the story. Well when we got to the chapter, where Ninjai was being lowered into the swamp/quicksand, the girls in the space where completely wide eyed and had this anxious look on their faces, as if waiting for the miraculous escape scene to happen. And here's the best part, when Ninjai was sinking and the bird came down to him, all the girls where like "ahhhh that is sooooo cute". And then when the little bird was trying to pull Ninjai out of the swamp, every one of them was crying. I swear it is the truth; they were all tearing and sniffling. I thought it was soooo cute, and a testament to how great and touching the story that you have created truly is. Grown women crying while watching a cartoon online. I just had to share that. Thanks again for noticing the email, and keep doing a great job.

Once i saw the ninjai animation sagas i was amazed. The animation is crisp the story is rich and its like an anime ninja movie. the action is awsome ill never watch samurai jack again . keep up the good work. i also think you guys should go on tv and turn this into a tv show on adult swim i love this show 10 out of ten
Dennis

This is one of the most amazing pieces that I have seen on Atom Films. It captures one of the best insights of a true Ninja that I have ever seen in animation form, especially since it was created with a child as the star who was looking for his identity. You guys are amazing. Please, please keep up the amazing work and I look forward to the final chapters or will it.........hmmmmm? Thanks for bringing this amazing piece to Shockwave.
Rodney BC Redd

Dear Ninjai Gang, In an interview posted on your website, you say: "We knew Ninjai would be popular but we never knew he would be this popular..." I do not accept this statement. One of you - perhaps each of you -- knew, by the quickening of your own pulse, the tingling of your skin, the shortness of your breath that you had come upon something larger than the sum of its parts. This growing awareness may have come during the time of the initial drafts of the story line, or they may have come after Chapter 1 was fully rendered. But I know that it must have come to each of you. When a force is universal, it exists both above and below the surface. It spreads, East, West, during the daytime and during the night. It touches the blind, the rich, the young, the old. This is how revolutions take hold and rapidly acquire followers. This is what is happening with Ninjai. You -- all of you -- deserve enormous credit for your pursuit and realization of excellence in every aspect of the work you have done here. In this I include initial concept, artistic quality, both idea and execution, titles, color, sound, voice actors, distribution, packaging, consistency, story. I cannot think of a single area that is wanting. The popularity of Ninjai is no accident. Every so often in history something comes along that sets a new standard. This is one such event. Thank you all for your very hard work, your attention to detail, your creativity, and your generosity. May these attributes which each of you possess carry you through a long and fruitful life always in this spirit.
Kg

I just came across your site yesterday and I watched every episode twice your show is really great, I'm a very big Ninja/Samurai fan did you ever think of putting your episode on DVD I would buy them when you complete you series. Looking forward to more shows please get your T-shirts back on the site.
Marc

I must say, that this short film series is one of the greatest I have ever seen. I happen to be quite the short film buff and I enjoy finding excellent series such as this. This I find to be one of my most favorite of all. I cannot wait for each chapter to be unveiled and to watch the next part of this marvelously done work. I truly believe that you guys should win an award for this series, such as the one that the acclaimed BMW film's series has won. The Association of Independent Commercial Producers, Inc. Awards should most definitely consider you for their next show as the top award in Cyber Category. Also, I think when finished you guys should show this series at the Cannes Film Festival also. I do believe that this series could win much acclaim. I know that I have told many of my friends and a few of them from the movie industry and they all agree on this series' excellence. Keep up the great work guys as I patiently await the next chapter.
-Daniel B., New York, NY.

Folks, My 8 y.o son and I luv your work and mostly your principles and values. Violence should be neutral and I applaud yr beliefs. When yr merchandise and movie is out, we'll buy heaps to support u guys. Keep it up!
Smiggy & Mutt

Hi guys, The only thing I can say about your Ninjai, It is that this is the best short movies I have ever seen. That last episode I think I watched it about 12 times in arrow. You guys are the best continue and I can't wait for the next episode. The first episodes were very good but the last one, it seems like there is a lot more detail in the animation Congratulations again.
(C.P., Montreal, Canada)

Where peace deny's lust and life as one can be true . . . thank you . .

WILLIAM R. TURNER

MAN, I got to tell you guyz... You guyz are doing a good job! I stumbled onto Ninjai from atomfilms.com, and let me tell you, you guyz have the best animation there. P.S. hope you guyz got some donations! I would if I could...
Stephen H. from Houston

I'm SCOTTISH and will be pissed at that point, but will still look. Cheers
Allan (";)

Absolutely fantastic stuff - a mate of mine mailed me about this and I have to say. I'm hooked - bring on September 9th! Both funny and compelling, as a teacher of IT in the UK I shall be using this as an example of what the web should be used for, how PC's can be a vector for filmatic presentations, and just to get them hooked too and hopefully spread the word of Ninjai! - All the best,
Hewesy

Hi there - your work is stunning and beautiful. The last episode was so touching I cried. I am truly impressed by the honesty with which you balance the traditional search for life's answers and the typically legendary abilities of the characters. Kind regards,
Eddie MasonNorfolk (England)

AWESOME!!!! My Daughter and I enjoyed watching your Anime and we are astounded at the clarity, continuity, and attention to detail shown. We cannot wait for chapter 8, or subsequent chapters to be unveiled. Stellar job done well to all!
Peter and Veronika Moore!

I took advantage of the shockwave download for Ninjai after installing the player. I am not very much drawn to cartoons or anime however, I was greatly surprised after watching the first 3 chapters of Ninjai that I cared what happened to him. At the end of chapter 7 I realized that I felt cheated and that such a one as Ninjai deserved to live and not the cruel characters in the story. It touched my heart to see Ninjai's small acts of kindness as when he befriends the little bird. When Ninjai puts on his best face and holds back the tears when the little bird comes back to him as he is being lowered into the quick sand broke my heart! To leave this earth with such bravery surely deserves some reward! Please, please, please keep Ninjai alive so that he can fulfill his quest and keep him as simple in principle as he is now. Kind to those who merit kindness, and vengeful on those who are mean and cruel. Domo arigato gozaimasu!

Gentlemen, I have seen literally hundreds of flash animations, hundreds of animations, but few have intrigued or impressed me as much as yours. Beautifully drawn, masterfully written, and perfectly scored, you sirs have created a wonderful story that has me coming back for more. I was thrilled when I saw that chapter 7 had finally been released and I honestly must say that it takes a true talent to evoke such emotion from a few pixels. I was near tears when the bird tried to lift little Ninjai out of the water. That, my friends is the sign of true artists at work. It is easier to make people laugh than it is to make them cry, and you have succeeded in doing both in your story thus far. You have taken flash animation to the next level, beyond the usual offerings. I didn't think it possible that flash could be used to create such magnificent images! I've dabbled in flash somewhat myself, but I am nowhere near the level that you are. I'm glad to hear that you have no plans to sell your creation. Keep control over it! I can only imagine what Hollywood would do to it and it is much better in its pure form. As a photographer I am lucky enough to have complete artistic control over my creations, and I get to play with some great toys like Photoshop and After Effects. I only wish my skills at animation were good enough that I could offer you my services! Thank you for your wonderful creation and thank you for keeping it real. If there is anything I can do to help you, perhaps designing posters or something like that, I would be honored to be a part of the Ninjai gang! Keep up the absolutely amazing work,
Dave Kool, (Edmonton Alberta, Canada)

Hi guys, Just checked out Chapter 10 & once again you have done an excellent job. It's been cool to watch the evolution of the story, not only from a literary point of view, but from a technical one as well. It's been impressive watching the evolution of the animation; from the first few hand-drawn episodes, to the now more polished looking, slicker edited ones. From the beginning you guys have outshone a large portion of the animation out there, but not just from a technical point of view. You have also managed to have done so with an engaging story and characters as well, not an easy feat indeed. That's the beauty of flash and this wonderful thing the internet, there is no limit to what you can do, from the likes of Itchy and Scratchy-esque stuff like "Happy Tree Friends", to the epic storytelling of Ninjai, nobody is telling you guys "You can't do that" which is why such un-mainstream entertainment is available for those of us that don't exactly collect Disney Videos. One thing that I must particularly commend you guys on is your sound work. Your style has always stood out for me, particularly your scoring and voiceovers. I'm picky as hell about how my sound productions turn out, so for me, most flash animations sound like they were recorded with a PC mike standing in a bathroom with several fans on. You guys seem to understand that the way something SOUNDS is sometimes even more important than how it LOOKS. The music you have composed for Ninjai is simply a perfect companion to your sweeping visuals. I find it reminiscent of James Horner's work in Braveheart, not to say that it's a rip off, it just has the same epic feel to it, without going overboard. Any word on a soundtrack yet? Keep up the good work!

I just recently discovered your mini-series of flash-vids, and... I was blown away! The story is fascinating, the action scenes aren't afraid to be bloody, and the music, particularly the intro, is so beautiful! When I saw chapter 7, and at the time there weren't any more, I was itching for more! It's like a flash version of Samurai Jack!... and... he's a kid... and... he has yet to discover himself...! Keep up the superb job folks. P.S. How about having that eccentric professor come back? Foul mouth and all, he was great! Your devoted fan,
Chu

I just happened to be at ATOM Films and I must tell you that I have been mesmerized by this series. The voice of the Little Ninjai is what made me come back for each chapter, along with the storyline. I hope this series is made available on DVD. Just to let you know, I am a forty-something female, so this series is doing something from the emails I have read, that is hard for even regular TV to do, which is to captivate and hold attention to persons of all ages. Keep up the good work, and I cannot wait, I am telling you, I cannot wait until the KarmaKula series begin!!! Hurry, Hurry!!!
Golden

Hello Ninjai Creators, I just had to tell you guys that I absolutely love Ninjai. You people are geniuses; I have not seen such a good short film in a long time. Chapter 7 kept me tied to my seat and cannot wait to see what happens to little Ninjai. Keep up the good work! Sincerely,
Alexis J. Villegas (Gainesville, FL)

Just want to congratulate you guys on coming up with a really cool concept, Ninjai is a fascinating caricature, with a lot of depth, and redeeming qualities. It's good to see people explore the importance of understanding violence in movies, and art, realizing that it should never be something that is glorified, but is necessary at times in life in order to protect the common good. I hope you guys continue with this theme of Ninjai. I'm really looking forward to the completion of Ninjai the little ninja.

Wow!!!!! What a story I can't wait for the next episode!! How will Ninjai get out of the Quicksand!! I'm James, I'm 20, and from the UK, I'm doing a degree in Music Technology, and write music in my spare time. A friend showed me the Ninjai website and I have to say, I'm amazed, not only with the flash work, but with the actual story... I really want a Ninjai t shirt too, as I think it will look badass. So ill wait till u have the new offices setup and ill get one. Good luck with the rest of the project, I hope to see Ninjai on TV in the not so distant future.
Jt

Thank you very much for some excellent entertainment! I appreciate and enjoy the gangs art very much. A couple of co-workers told me about the site, and now I am sure I won't be able to keep my mouth shut about it. The word is spreading!

AH MAN. I was stumbling around the internet and one I was watching some videos. Ninjai was one I came across. I don't know how many times I've watched each one but I cant wait for the rest of chapters to come out. Just to let you guys know I've been watching and since there were only I think 3 chapters out. And now you have 6. Just keep up with everything and good luck. a loyal fan.

I hate you!!! I was bored as hell one day at work. Just surfin' the net and came across, "The Little Ninjai." I watched the first episode there at work with no sound. It looked pretty cool. So I said, "This one I'll have to watch when I get home." Well I got home and watched it again, with sound this time. "Not bad at all!" I said. Then after the 2nd episode which I must say had me Freakin' falling out of my chair with laughter, you boys had me.... hook, line and sinker! I watched all the episodes through 7 and then *Thud* I had to stop since you hadn't finished Ep.8. I hate it because I CAN'T WAIT to see the next one! You guys are "Fucking Genius's!!!" You guys keep up this great movie and know that everyday someone new is surfing in to Ninjai.Com and watching one of the best cartoons of all time. I hope you guys plan on having another set of Little Ninjai episode's after this one is complete. KarmaKula sounds like a hit as well. Just know that I'll be watching, as will everyone of my friends. Keep up the great work that goes for all of ya. (That means you too sound guys - great effects and music!) Later,
Nick Wood (Wisconsin)

This anime has got me hooked, episode after episode, it attracts you in. Your story line is fantastic, even better with chapters 6 to 8. In the beginning, your mini movies looked a lot like flash (of course, because it is flash), but lately, your skilled artists made the series look like it was drawn on paper, so much details that capture and stimulate the eyes. Keep up the good works of art. Congrats about all the popularity of your series.
A.A.

Dear Ninjai Gang, You guys are great, I am very proud of you and look up to you guys a lot!! and I don't even know you! But you just prove a lot to the Ninjai fans out there that they can do anything if they put a lot of work into it. So thank you! I know you guys are gonna be famous someday, not that you aren't already. The drawings and the story-board is awesome, no one knows what is going to happen next, it keeps the suspense. And the thing that stands out the most to me is your own uniqueness put into little Ninjai! Today Japanese Anime is becoming really popular, cuz the drawings and the stories are way more interesting and cooler than the regular "Tweety Bird V.S. Selvester the Cat," though i still get a kick out of them. But the problem with most Japanese Anime, is all the drawings look the same, and almost every Japanese Anime I’ve seen has too much in common with the next one, and the next one. But with you guys...i know you guys aren't "Japanese Anime" focused....you guys are better than that, you stick out, you have your own style, your own way, your not trying to follow someone else's regular style, your going your own way, making things yours. Sorry to be comparing you to "Japanese Anime," cuz you are WAY better than "Japanese Anime," you shouldn't even be categorized! If you were, you would be categorized as "Amazing." You kick the regular lame-boring Warner Bros cartoons butt and you also take out the confusion, & weirdness sometimes found in Japanese Anime, and you put 100% lean mean Balls into little Ninjai. You make every other "Cartoon" look cheesy; you make other writers look like they have no clue what they are doing. Keep up what you are doing! You guys are already on your way to a something major!! Probably going to be remembered in history for making one of the coolest characters ever "little Ninjai." Your going to kick Pokemons poofy little butt, and whatever other stuff that's out there. ~"Your going to be made in History. "~
Katie A. Berglof

YOU GUYS CAME UP W/ THE BEST ANIMATION EVER!!!!!!!!!! First and foremost, I have never really been a fan of cartoons and stuff.....but recently I was on shockwave which brought me to your site. I was intrigued by the advertisement that they put together and watched it. I am now very much into Ninjai and have you to thank for it. I am also sure that Karma Kula will be a kick ass lil thing too...I’m just hoping that u can push out the next Ninjai cartoons soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jim Price

Bravo: you have a great story going here. I am hooked, i can't wait for the next chapter to come out. I check back every day or two to see if there is anything new. Best of luck,
Bronson

What you people are doing is beauty. There is absolutely nothing anyone can say or do that will ever compromise your integrity if you don't go corporate.
Paul

Hey Ninjai-Gang, I assume you get a lot of these mails, well here is one more. I am 14 years old and I been animating for 3 years now with flash. Since I started animating you guys have been the number 1-inspiration. You always inspired me with your amazing movies, your style, and your graphics. I just watched Ninjai Chapter 7 and that was the most dramatic fantastic thing I ever seen made in Flash. When he was talking to the little bird, just before he sank down I almost started crying! It was so good made, it really amazed me! =) I wish I could do something for you guys but except watching your movies, tell people about it!!! Keep it up!

Hey there, There are no words that can explain my huge enthusiasm for Ninjai. It is such a great site and the chapters I follow as if they were my own life. Not to say I go around slaying demons, but it is great animation. I just wanted to say, keep up the great work and I'll look forward to the next exciting episode of Ninjai and I can't wait for the Screen savers. (P.S. - Also looking forward to KarmaKula. As much, if not more than Ninjai. See you then)
GigaX

You guys are amazing, I was able to view the ten chapters from Ninjai, and from the fact that your production could jerk a tear from my girlfriend and I (who happens to be a very tough cookie) my hats are off to you guys. Your site is becoming very popular in Jamaica and we can’t wait to see what else you guys are bringing soon... thank you for the experience.
Suzy Q

Your show kicks ass I love it and I’ve only watch the first three
Kirk

Hello all - You amaze me - you've actually got an entertaining project that's worth watching (repeatedly) and it's pretty awesome animation to boot. I read some of the interviews and stuff on the site; I'd like to know if you accept contributions. I wouldn't be able to send you guys a whole lot, but I'm all for helping out a neat project when I find one. (I completely understand the whole lack of funding thing - I work for a SERIOUSLY non-profit organization.) If this isn't an outta-the-blue request and you're down, you can send me an address and I'll send you some $. PLEASE keep up the great work!!

Awesome!! We can't wait to see them! Thanks so much!

Oh my gosh, this is like the first time I've seen this, Ninjai is soooo kool!! I'm 21 btw, lol...I congratulate the whole gang for bringing such a character to life. You have done an amazing job at this...ok so no more words to say, but keep it up...oh and I can't wait till chapter 6 comes out! I wuz so into it, clicking chapter 1, then 2 then 3 then 4 and then 5 but when I clicked on 6 nothing happened so I figured you just haven't come up with it which is ok, don't rush yourselves as I'm sure you don't, it's totally worth the wait!...I also set up one of the Ninjai wall papers as background, totally kool.. I picked the one where Ninjai is sitting on the tree limb with his little friend... the bird ...awwwww!! lol thank you for reading this... ok I leave you all alone now hehe -- God Bless All
V

Hi Guys, I just HAD to write and tell you all you kick ass!!! Ninjai is what has been missing from the internet for a while. GOOD STUFF... Anyways I don't have a clue about animating but I would love to help out in some way (I have a way with words and stories for instance) But I understand if you write the scripts yourselves anyways GREAT JOB guys and keep up the good work (Cant wait for Karma Kula!!!!!!) Your Faithful Fan
Blaze

Dudes.....just wanted to let you know....I love the Ninjai series..... I can't wait for the next installment.....Keep up the fantastic work gang
Canadian Chris

If the amount and quality of work you put into the teaser is any sign, Karma Kula will be at least as good as Ninjai. The music really makes the teaser great. More please!!!

It is the serenity within that reflects the man without. Thanks for such a wonderfully brilliant series, Ninjai gang! I await the next installment with bated breath. I would very much like to download the piece of music used at the opening of each chapter....it's beautifully oriental! Once again...well done!
Edenexile

I'm sure you get plenty of email, so I'll be brief. I was reading what you said in the interview about violence and politics; had to say, RIGHT ON. I'm with you all the way. Keep up the good work.
Deacon Wolf

I just surfed on in (Couldn't even tell you how), and I was struck by the beauty of your work! This stuff is great! So, when do you hit the Theaters? *grin* Love chapters 1-5, am hoping to see the rest soon.
Chips White,
New Fan in Seattle

The music is in total harmony with the art work, what can I say "it rocks"(and I'm 50 yrs old) have you thought about doing a big screen adaptation(or book).I hope you've patented your work, your doing a great job and why does the series have to have a ending, it's subject matter can go to infinite (as long as you have the writers.?). the little Ninjai can be as permanent of a prop as the "stargate" is to the series"sg-1"(you can create endless stories around him, all's you need is a little dog with him and you can go Hollywood) lol, later and thanks for the story..
Ron-Pierre

I Love this! I am a 32 year old man in Florida, and I happened across Ninjai totally by accident. Before I knew it I was totally wrapped up in the series. I would watch a full length movie about Ninjai. The characters are great, the animation is first class, and the music is perfect. When is the next chapter coming out? I'm going to tell everyone I know about this series and your site. Thanks,
Mike

Hey Gang, Thank you for the creation of such ad INSTIRING and entertaining Little Ninjai. Your efforts are appreciated. I know, as a martial artist myself with interests in theatrics (acrobatics, animal form, choreography, music, dance, chant, and spirituality), that the martial realm is a challenge for the spirit. The Gang's perseverance will serve great purpose. As a poor college student I feel that I can relate on some of your same struggles, not to mention that the majority of our group is vegetarian, some vegan, and always organic. We believe that the martial realm is a catalyst for resolving karmic energy. Your obstacles are signs of relatively rapid growth. In a way, I feel like prayers are being answered. this is a chant for you all. It is a translation: May there be peace on mortal, immortal, and divine planes. I meditate of the most brilliant splendor of the divine sun. May He stimulate our intellect to take the right action at the right time. Keep doing what you love and sharing it with the world. The creator has given you great talents to share. I hope to do the same.
Shi shi nin,

I suppose I should address this to the, "Ninjai Gang!" I have always been interested, or had a passion for animation, so naturally I discuss it a lot, with friends and family. My father owns an advertising agency, so naturally I have been around computers and the latest technology since I was born! So many things have changed and are changing, but I can't seem to keep up with the speed at which animation is developing! It is truly' "mind-blowing!" You guys are doing an amazing job! The group effort that goes into "Ninjai," is definitely worth it! The KarmaKula teaser sent shivers down my spine! wowwwwwwwww!!!!!!! Well I'm basically just mailing to say that I really value your site and your efforts! I live in South Africa, in Cape Town, and I was wandering if you guys, when you get your, "gear'" up and running again, if you were planning to ship out here?? I know that it is probably one of so many thousands of questions that you get asked every day, but I just thought that I would lay down that seed of thought!! I'm sitting at work,(I work fulltime doing graphic design) and I cant seem to focus cause I'm downloading your chapters...which are inspiring to put it mildly...so I thought that I would mail, "the gang'" and let you know that you have fans in South Africa! Well Thank You for meeting each other and forming such a unique concept, don't stop!
C.H.

BLAMMO! Ninjai's ace just wanted to say thanks for livening up my days in the office when i should be working. All The Best
Trevor

I was just introduced to The Little Ninjai today at work. I am a 30 year old Reading Lab Director at a small community college in Southern California. I must say, I am highly impressed with your work. I was able to check out the website as well and found your Lycos interviews very interesting. I am going to my favorite coffee shop tonight to spread the word. Can't wait for the next chapters. Sincerely,
Caleab Losee

Hello Sirs, Ninjai, the little ninja is a great show. He is both a mystic and powerful. I love the cartoon. It is among my favorites, including Ninja Scroll and Sword of Truth. You Gentlemen keep up the great work. Thanks for good ninja entertainment. Always a Fan,

Hello, I just found out about you guys from Atom films. I just wanted to say Ninjai is very smart, sharp, and something I've been looking for in animation for quite sometime. I really enjoyed each episode. The music is breathtaking
