Frequently Asked Questions

Please keep sending us emails with your feedback, we really want it. We will definitely read every email because we love your input and we’ll try to answer your questions as best we can, but since a lot of you are asking the same questions, it doesn’t make sense as far as our manpower is concerned to try to individually answer the same questions that many of you have. What we’ll try to do is answer the most common questions on our site. You can choose either the Admin FAQ for general questions or the Tech FAQ for technical questions.

Admin FAQ

Q: The music is great, do you guys create it yourselves?

A: Yes, all of the music on our site is original and created by us and we try to make it first class, like everything else we create. Because of the great interest in getting the music, we’re going to be putting out a ‘Ninjai’ soundtrack in the near future.

Q: Can we make T-shirts of our own with the Ninjai logo? Can we make copies of the music and distribute it? Can we make a Ninjai video game or comic book? Can we create our own Ninjai trading cards? Do you guys mind if I do an animation like yours, but call it Samurjai instead of Ninjai?

A: We appreciate your enthusiasm and hope to inspire you to come up with your own projects. We know you guys are good guys, but please don’t rip us off! We’re working as hard as we can to get you Ninjai clothing, a Ninjai soundtrack, Ninjai video games, DVD’s, comic books, etc. as soon as possible.

Q: Why does my computer hang/crash when I am watching the chapters?

A: The most likely cause of this is low system resource such as memory. Possible solutions include:

  1. Close all memory hungry programs, prior to watching the animation.
  2. Reboot your computer and try to regain as much memory as possible by not loading programs at startup that you don’t need.
  3. Try changing the viewing preferences (ie: from broadband/large to modem/large)
  4. Buy more memory for your computer.
Q: Sometimes when I am watching the chapters an illegal operation occurs?

A: These can be difficult as the cause is often due to a failure between Flash, the browser and your OS. If the error appears while playing our animation, it generally means Flash messed up, and, hasn’t the ability to handle the problem gracefully. Other causes are:

  1. When the available resource to Flash is insufficient.
  2. Your Flash installation is corrupt. Try reinstalling Flash.
  3. A virus on your system.
Q: How do I download the chapters to my hard drive?

A: Buy our soon-to-be released CD ROM/DVD.

Q: Why does the sound and animation fall out of sync?

A: Underpowered computers often exhibit such symptoms. The solution is to increase RAM and or CPU power or simply purchase a more powerful machine.

Also, try the following: Right-click (option-click for Mac users) on the flash file and untick Play. Wait ten seconds then tick Play back on. This may correct the problem.

Q: I’m using Mac OS X and I can’t view your movies, what is going wrong?

A: You may not have the latest version of Mac OS X, your browser, or Macromedia Flash Player. Go here to the Macromedia site for a solution.

Q: I’m getting an error about needing to have cookies enabled?

A: Make sure cookies are enabled. You can check by following the instructions here.

Q: Why have the chapters stopped loading part way through (ie: stop loading at 63%)?

A: This is sometimes due to the use of Internet filtering software such as Cybersitter or Norton Firewall. However, this is not always the case. You may try:

  1. Clearing your internet cache (temporary internet files)
  2. Refreshing the page a few times (F5)
  3. Restarting your computer
